Abstract: With the transfer of all spheres of our lives to cyberspace we have been observing the emergence of new forms of leisure and of relating to each other. Consequently, we have sexting as an increasingly common and standardized practice whose risks can have serious personal and social implications that must be addressed from a criminological perspective. This master's thesis consists of a criminological evaluation of the phenomenon of sexting through a bibliographic review of different studies, as well as a survey of 350 participants whose results have allowed us to identify risk factors, variables involved and consequences of the practice of the same in order to deepen its study to provide safe tools aimed at prevention and pragmatically adjust those interventions that are carried out on minors and adolescents.
