Author: Díaz Teba, Álvaro
Tutor: Colobran, Miquel
Abstract: At present, information or data has transcended its importance both in organizations and in society. This information is digital and accessible from Data Centers or Data Centers, which can be public because they offer services from the Internet (public Cloud) or private. The objective of this work is to carry out an analysis of current technologies and solutions to design a High Performance Data Center, taking into account the needs of today's organizations and society. To carry out the research, a study of the technologies and solutions for a Data Center with a Cloud provider approach has been carried out. Hereafter, a review of the necessary technologies in a High Performance Data Center has been carried out, from the hardware equipment to the software tools to operate the Data Center. Consequently, only a single solution has been found with official support from the manufacturer that provides a private Cloud capable of offering IaaS, PaaS and SaaS services like any public Cloud today. Hardware elements and software solutions from proven brands have also been selected, with certain popularity, maturity and experience in the Information Technology market. The design of a High Performance Data Center provides functionalities and solutions that organizations demand today, the adoption of this Data Center makes profound changes on organizations, increasing their productivity and capacity when offering services.
