Abstract: Comparison of results obtained when three datasets of three different Alzheimer's disease studies were analysed. Eight different software tools were used and pathway and network analysis were conducted to analyse the datasets. In conclusion, the analysis of different types of biological data and pathway and network analysis give a functional and a systemic understanding of Alzheimer's disease. Lastly, the number of statistically significant results differs between programs even if the same dataset is analysed and the same pathway analysis method is used. However, the most relevant results coincide between software tools if the same database is selected; but their levels of significance differ.
