Abstract: Developmental Disorders occupy 23% of classrooms, of these disorders, 25% correspond to Autism Aspect Disorder (ASD), so we can ensure that autism is a reality in the classroom. ASD is defined as a set of alterations in the development of social, communicative, and cognitive areas (DSM-V, 2014). As a teacher, thinking and acting from diversity and not for diversity means having a high degree of training around all educational needs. The present study has been designed to determine the degree of knowledge that the documents on ASD have in order to carry out a quality didactic intervention, focusing the study on identifying the training received and determining the knowledge of teachers. The investigation is a case study of a charter school in Mataró. The sample consisted of 10 teachers who responded to a questionnaire. The results have shown that teachers have knowledge to understand and take care of their students, but they are not enough to ensure quality educational and inclusive practice. Thus, it concludes the need for a commitment to quality training, in order to increase knowledge and be able to give an optimal educational response.
