Title: Arqueología del presente: musealización y divulgación como conversación social a través del yacimiento protohistórico
Author: García López, Alejandro
Tutor: Munilla Cabrillana, Glòria
Abstract: Archaeology defines itself as the modern science that studies the human populations of the past through their material heritage. Like any historical context, the knowledge issued comes from the historical and cultural reality to which it belongs, its present. By means of the Iberian protohistoric sites and their landscape (a heterogeneous stage that embraces the Bronze Final Age to the Roman rulers) we will study and reflect on the communicating vessels that unite archeology and society. We will delve into current museum and informative case studies with the aim of demonstrating how archaeologists transform and affect their own present reality.
