Abstract: This paper deals with M.P., a real 50-year-old patient diagnosed with mild COVID-19 in March 2020. COVID-19 is defined by the WHO as an infectious disease caused by SARS-CoV-2, a recently discovered coronavirus. It mainly affects the respiratory system, but it has been shown that it can also compromise the central nervous system, increasing the probability of suffering from neurological diseases, neuropsychological disorders and psychiatric symptoms. In the chosen case, the patient presents cognitive, emotional and behavioral sequelae that decrease her daily functionality and quality of life. In the neuropsychological evaluation, a mainly dysexecutive cognitive profile is observed, accompanied by memory deficits and high anxiety symptoms. Based on these results, an intensive intervention of 35 sessions spread over two months is proposed. The general objective is to improve the emotional and neuropsychological state of the patient to promote her daily autonomy and increase her quality of life. Treatment includes psychoeducation, psychotherapy, cognitive stimulation and compensatory strategies for affected functions, social skills training, and some follow-up sessions. In addition, the involvement of the family is considered throughout the process to favor the generalization of learning.
