Title: Estudio sectorial sobre la accidentabilidad en el sector de la construcción 2015-2020

Abstract: The construction sector in Spain is one of those with the highest rate of occupational accidents, therefore, a study on the accident rate in the sector during the 2015-2020 period is necessary. It is a sector characterized by its complexity in terms of its organizational structure, management and work methods, which is why it is necessary to analyze this period in order to know what has happened during the previous years. From this analysis, the causes related to the high accident rate and possible forecasts for future years are extracted. In addition to the existing regulatory overexposure in the sector, in terms of preventive matters and subcontracting. Therefore, after knowledge of the causes, the analysis of previous years, improvements can be established in the preventive measures already established in the regulations, in order to guarantee the safety and health of workers in the construction sector.
