Title: La importància de treballar la consciència fonològica en l¿etapa d¿educació infantil. Es coneixen els beneficis o pel contrari és l¿eterna oblidada?

Abstract: This study investigates the importance of working on phonological awareness and its benefits in early childhood education. It is based on surveys to nine teachers from two public schools, located in La Garriga and Sant Pere de Ribes. Even so, two speech therapists, experts in the field of reeducation, have been interviewed to know their professional opinion, the benefits and the importance of phonological awareness work for the recovery of dyslexia. Therefore, it is investigated how phonological awareness is worked at school and also from the expert point of view. The data analyzed indicate that the school gives importance to phonological awareness and teachers know and recognize its benefits, but some weaknesses are also detected. The research explains how they work with it, how they evaluate it and the importance of early detection of the warning signs of dyslexia. The speech therapists interviewed emphasize the importance of establishing a correct foundation in F.C. with students with dyslexia and neurotypicals, mentioning the multiple benefits.
