Abstract: The growing demand for data in mobile devices has created the need to enable new telecommunication bands, for this reason antennas capable of capturing all the bands where these devices emit are required. Due to the miniaturization of the devices, the increase of communication bands and the consumption of these has created the need to provide smaller, high gain, multiband, highly efficient and economically viable antennas. This work will focus on the study of microstrip antennas due to their low production and design cost. Throughout this project, simulation tasks of different characteristics of an already designed antenna will be carried out using IE3D simulation software. The analysis of the data and the corresponding comparisons of the most important parameters involved in the actual design of an antenna. The main objective of this work is to analyze and study through related articles and simulations how external characteristics affect the radiation element and to evaluate the feasibility of these.
