Abstract: Students from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds find in the digital divide a risk factor that limits educational success and integration in a digital society. However, the development of digital competences through M-learning is established as one of the main ways to compensate this gap thanks to the extension of the tools, their usability and didactic applications. The present work establishes the basis for the development of the areas of competence in digital matters that provide students with skills and attitudes that enhance their social and educational development.
