Abstract: According to a study carried out by YouGov, 30% of millennials always or often feel lonely. It is striking that this hyper-connected generation has these values of loneliness, but the data shows that they lack friendships in which strong emotional ties are established. Millennials prefer to connect through social media rather than face-to-face, as it requires less effort and they have immediate feedback. In addition, if we add it to the consequences of the pandemic in which prolonged loneliness and lack of face-to-face contact, the quality of their relationships has deteriorated even more. This feeling of loneliness generates negative effects such as depression or anxiety, so through the development of this app we seek to use technology as a tool that enhances a solid network of friends and reduces the levels of this silent pandemic: loneliness.
