Abstract: We live in a world that is increasingly globalized, connected and interdependent between people and communities. The University, in its duty to society, has a central role in the formation of citizens capable of developing in global, multicultural and diverse environments. In higher education institutions, this transformation is reflected, among other things, in the diversification of their internationalization strategies. In this diversification, the Internationalization of the Curriculum or Internationalization at home are gaining more prominence since their conception and means of development allows a broader and more inclusive scope and dimension and is accessible to all students. They integrate global perspectives that have a local and global impact, thus enriching the quality of a curriculum, in line with the 2030 Agenda. In this sense, the evaluation of the quality of programs must advance in parallel to this scenario of change and requires including the evaluation of the international dimension in the current accreditation processes, in order to provide answers to the challenges of the future. The concept of the Internationalization of the curriculum is studied and the relevance of the international dimension in the current accreditation processes is analyzed, concluding with a series of recommendations regarding the evaluation of the international dimension in the accreditation of official bachelor's and master's degrees in the Universities of Catalonia.
