Title: Proposta d'acompanyament socioeducatiu en contextos residencials: La música en la demència

Abstract: This Final Degree Project includes a proposal for socio-educational support whose aim is to improve, through music, the quality of elderly people with dementia who are in residential contexts. What it intends, then, is to investigate the processes that encompass the third age and dementia in the residential environment, at the same time that it seeks to establish the benefits of music therapy as a socio-educational tool. Thus, the proposal is structured in seven sessions that integrate activities that promote a process based on action and participation, and that is respectful with the different profiles of the participants. In this way, through individual and cooperative experience, the target group discovers and experiences episodes that allow them to acquire greater autonomy and quality of life.
