Title: Análisis de IOTA y Ethereum para comunicación de dispositivos IoT
Author: Capdevila Solanich, Gerard
Tutor: Ballesteros Rodríguez, Alberto
Abstract: This work seeks to demonstrate how the Internet of Things (IoT) can connect and communicate with thousands of devices. Consequently, the topic of study of this project will seek to implement an IoT ecosystem using modern technologies such as blockchain and DAG (Directed Acyclic Graph). Thus, the different advantages and disadvantages of the use of both technologies compared to the existing options in the current market will be presented. To do so, a general purpose network, such as Ethereum, and a network oriented to IoT devices, such as IOTA, will be compared. Finally, the study will present different metrics demonstrating the advantages and disadvantages of both networks.
