Title: Innovación tecnocientífica y narrativas en la globalización capitalista: una mirada crítica al ecosistema de startups
Author: Carnicero Sánchez, Clara
Tutor: Vallès-Peris, Núria
Abstract: Over the last twenty years, the different economic and political powers have been developing new formulas to implement the culture of entrepreneurship as a solution to social problems such as unemployment or the scarcity of budgets allocated to innovation. This culture has reinvented a jargon, new concepts and new methodologies with which it has formed a discourse through which it has appropriated spaces in different areas of society. With technology, innovation and business as means, capital has found another form of reproduction apparently with neoliberal tendencies. What social implications derive from the expansion of this culture? What relationship does this culture establish with technology? Why should this ecosystem be studied from other disciplines? Are there conceivable alternatives within the startup ecosystem?
