Abstract: The present work is a research on the youth reality and youth policies in the Alt Camp region. Firstly, the approach of the work is described, justifying the reason for the study, the initial hypotheses, and the research objectives are stated. Secondly, the research design and methodology are discussed: research methods, planning, timing and ethical aspects. Next, a bibliographic research is carried out to contextualize youth policies at the local level at a theoretical level, as well as to highlight the most recent theoretical contributions and current debates on youth policies. Next, data analysis is carried out, regarding the situation of people and youth policies in the county, which have been collected during the research process, combining and relating them with previously existing statistical data, reports and studies. In order to present the data in an orderly manner, the following indicators are used: education, work, housing, health and culture. In this section, we also analyze data on youth policies in the region. of the youth policies of the county from a more global level: the resources of the youth policies of Alt Camp, and the policies of emancipation and youth participation. The data collected during the research process can be consulted in the annexes section. Finally, the final conclusions of the research are presented as a theoretical contribution to the youth policies of Alt Camp.
