Abstract: Currently, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is one of the most common neurodevelopmental disorders in children, which can go unnoticed until adolescence, when school demands and the need to adapt to the adult world begin. Early care emphasizes the need for early detection of developmental disorders in order to improve the prognosis and quality of life of those affected and of society. This study has two objectives: (1) To affirm that adolescents with ADHD are more likely to present disruptive behaviors in the academic environment; (2) To relate whether early attention in families and children with ADHD is associated with better academic performance and a decrease in disruptive behaviors during adolescence. A systematic review of the scientific literature (last 20 years) of qualitative nature has been made, synthesizing the main characteristics and results, from a psycho-pedagogical perspective, contemplating the personal, family, school and socio-relational spheres. The results seem to show that these students present more behavioral difficulties in the school environment and that early detection and intervention can promote an improved prognosis. They affirm that disruptive behaviors are more typical of students with behavioral pathologies and emphasize the importance of psycho-pedagogical support. It is concluded that an early detection and intervention with families and children is needed, in order to provide them with the necessary help and resources, trying to avoid an increase in disruptive behaviors and the negative consequences they may suffer, as well as a better understanding of the difficulties. To verify the conclusions, an experimental study would be needed, which is not contemplated in this work.
