Title: Travessant de lila el disseny o com incorporar les identitats invisibles en la ressignificació dels nostres dissenys a través de la perspectiva de gènere
Author: Juarez Martinez, Elisabet

Abstract: Undoubtedly, design is part of our daily lives, conditioning how we interact with our environment and what roles we develop. Therefore, design has great potential as a key tool for social transformation to change our imaginaries and build new realities. In this sense, the incorporation of the gender perspective in design processes is a unique opportunity to fight against inequalities, to make the most vulnerable groups visible and to avoid the perpetuation of stereotypes. This work was born with the aim of providing tools to design professionals through the creation of a website so that they can incorporate the gender perspective in their work processes. From the results obtained through an exhaustive process of bibliographic research and contrast with professionals in the sector to detect their needs in this area, the key concepts that must be known to understand the gender perspective are identified and different feminist design resources are selected - such as good practices, checklists, guides or methodological tools - which are organized and presented through the web prototype Atravesando de lila el diseño (Crossing design in lilac).
