Abstract: This project proposes the development of eResourceKeeper, a software to manage the human resources and projects of a company, using as a starting point the specific case of a company that currently uses a spreadsheet to perform this task. The spreadsheet is analyzed in detail, in order to incorporate all its functionalities into the new software and overcome its limitations. A comparative study of various commercial products is also carried out, in order to detect new functionalities that may be of interest. As a result of all this, a series of requirements is obtained, from among which a selection is made, prioritizing them based on cost/value criteria. Once requirements have been selected use cases are made, from which wireframes are presented, to provide a detailed description of the user interface. Next, the navigational map is designed using a state diagram. Then the relevant UML class diagram is presented, and the integrity rules that must be followed are listed. The logical and conceptual design of the database used is also shown, as well as its relational diagram. Finally, a layered architecture is proposed, and a set of products and technologies are suggested to be used in case of a possible future implementation.
