Abstract: Gender stereotypes are one of the main problems of current social inequality and which, in an aggravated way, have a negative impact on discrimination against the social or employment rights of one of the sexes. This study seeks to analyse which gender stereotypes appear at the stage of child education and how the first social agents responsible for their development and education act: family and teachers, in their transmission. It is part of a descriptive study of mixed review conducted in the city of Reus and where two questionnaires have been used, one for children in the second cycle of infant education, presented as an activity, and INE for families in both 1st and 2nd cycle. In addition, 5 teachers were interviewed. The three agents studied have been shown to exhibit different gender stereotypes related to colors, the language used, or the relationships between actions or behaviors of one gender or another.
