Abstract: The awkwardness of managing increasingly populated cities, the growing concern for the environment and the arrival of a global health crisis such as COVID-19, have led to a considerable increase in the use of smart cities in today, causing not only changes at the level of infrastructure and processes in cities, but also a profound social transformation. Many of the applications that have not been able to adapt to technological change have been relegated from their position as a tool for communication and active participation in the life of citizens. This work arises from the need to give a second life to the Cuida tu municipio application, one of these solutions with less and less penetration in the market and with practically non- existent use by the inhabitants of more than 50 Sevillian municipalities. The main objective of the project is the study of the needs, motivations and interests of citizenship under the people-centered design approach, with the aim of redefining and redesign this application, to turn it into a municipal services tool that is effective and useful for the inhabitants of these municipalities.
