Abstract: In order to achieve a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions as a transitional measure by 2030 to achieve carbon neutrality, measures are being implemented on sectors with the greatest impact on the environment. Some of them are focused on achieving a transition towards sustainable mobility by promoting the use of electric vehicles. However, there are technological disadvantages that hinder the definitive implementation of this type of vehicles in the market. Some of them are related to long charging times, lower range compared to combustion vehicles, or limited charging points. The Dynamic Wireless Power Transfer (DWPT) technology, through which the vehicle receives energy from the road while moving without the need to use stored energy or even increase the available energy, would greatly alleviate the current described drawbacks associated with the storage system. In this study, an analysis is conducted on the application of DWPT technology for electric vehicle charging. A 30 kW power transfer system model is presented, and the feasibility of its implementation in a bus-taxi lane is analyzed.
