Abstract: The project looks to generate a complete experience regarding the process involved in developing an ARPG style videogame with platformer elements, with retro visuals based on the 5th generation of videogames consoles. As a starting point for a universe, the players will have the chance to get something from the game that could be used in future releases. The process in the development is based on agile methodologies (Scrum – Kanban), where its defined a sprint every week to have an iteration in a timely manner and decide the necessary elements during every iteration to have a minimum viable experience, it means that if a goal is not achieved on each sprint, the backlog will be reviewed and organized to guarantee the properly game experience. The pursuing result is to obtain the experience necessary to create an ARPG/Platformer style videogame and use all that information to promote the growth of the industry in the country and also refine and implement more efficient process in future iterations. As conclusion, it is an ambitious project, and it needs planning and a really organized work to develop the desired video game experience.
