Title: El aprendizaje basado en proyectos como estrategia para incentivar la creatividad en el alumnado

Abstract: We currently live in a changing society, which requires creative people capable of dealing with sudden changes that may arise. To this end, it is essential to stimulate in students certain skills such as teamwork, critical thinking, innovation and creativity. The school is the main institution through which students can acquire these skills. However, it is important to bear in mind that not just any type of methodology will foster these skills, but that the chosen method must have certain characteristics that make it valid for achieving the proposed objective. Thus, an appropriate methodology to encourage the aforementioned skills, especially creativity, must be active, challenging, flexible, cooperative and interactive. The characteristics described matches with the projectbased learning methodology (PBL), through which students research on a specific topic in different groups. This master's thesis will analyze the interconnection between the implementation of active methodologies, more specifically PBL, and the stimulation of creativity in students. The components of this methodology will be reviewed in depth, differentiating it from others and establishing why it is the most appropriate to stimulate creative thinking.
