Abstract: | The increase in life expectancy is a fact that demographic science presents as a risk factor in our society. Spain is experiencing a faster population ageing growth than the rest of the European Union countries. Projections by the National Institute of Statistics define it as an unstoppable ageing resulting from the decrease in the minimum birth rate, as well as the decline in mortality. This creates one of the greatest weaknesses facing any type of organization today. As a contribution, this study aims to provide an evaluation method that allows analyzing labor ageing and age management in any type of company, regardless of whether it has been practiced in a specific organization in this work. For this purpose, the diagnosis is based on developing a tool that allows evaluating age management through the quantitative analysis of certain variables that will be studied in the following pages and that will help companies detect preventively their level of action in the face of the new economic and social situation. This context requires entrepreneurship through generational competencies that are responsible and sustainable, but above all, that protect the safety and health of all employees to support the extension of their professional life. |
