Abstract: The master's thesis project focuses on the development of a video game titled "Caso 0," designed to be played on a windows PC operating system. This first-person game combines elements of an escape room with low poly 3d graphics and a diegetic interface to enhance player immersion. The story unfolds in an abandoned hotel building known for its numerous unsolved crimes. The player takes on the role of a skeptical and renowned investigator tasked with unraveling the mysteries of the building while encountering paranormal events and making decisions that affect their relationship with a paranormal entity. Each floor of the hotel increases the level of difficulty, whether in puzzles, challenges, or the quantity and frequency of enigmatic events. With the aim of exploring immersion, nteractive storytelling, and the creation of an effective suspense gaming experience. For this specific project, an introductory or tutorial level and the first level of the video game will be developed. This will be done with the purpose of creating a complete version of the game that can be resented and proposed for full development in the future.
