Title: Una propuesta de modelo socioeducativo en el marco institucional del abordaje del problema de las drogodependencias

Abstract: The drug problem is very present in our lives. The hegemonic scientific-political discourse continually warns of the seriousness of the problem of addiction in terms of health and safety, and presents decisive and successful solutions in treatment models centred on the detoxification and rehabilitation of the ill person, with the ultimate aim of achieving social integration. The present study aims to find out the place of social education in the (de)construction of the drug problem. As a result of the project, a proposal for a model of socio-educational action in the institutional framework of a drug addiction care entity is formulated. The proposal is defined by means of a qualitative research methodology based on the technique of content analysis. The result situates the place of social education in the cracks of the paradigm that constructs the problem and the solution of drug addictions.
