Title: Uso del M-learning para desarrollar las habilidades de redacción en la educación superior

Abstract: This research work focuses on M-learning as an innovative methodology within writing courses in university higher education to improve teaching-learning processes and therefore the academic performance of students. The reason for the study focuses on the problem of improving writing skills in university students from the implementation of the M-learning methodology based on information reviewed in databases of proven reliability and focused on the last five years. The general objective was to have quality indicators, criteria or guidelines of a pedagogical, technological or social nature for the implementation of an educational intervention with m-learning to develop writing and communication skills in higher education students. The research procedure is based on updated academic information and fulfilling the criteria related to the variables mentioned in the title of the research, also taking into account that each of them must be within the scope of university higher education and have been published in the last five years in specialized magazines. Finally, the results obtained show that the application of Mlearning as a methodology is applicable and effective to be applied in writing courses in higher education and thus improve teaching-learning processes. Therefore, it is concluded that its implementation as a methodology is effective to improve writing skills in university students and this will be reflected in the improvement of their academic performance.
