Abstract: | The main objective of this Master's Thesis, of applied modality, is to design a gamified environment in which the methodology of Project Based Collaborative Learning assisted by ICT is applied, which stimulates and enhances the interest and motivation of students in their own learning process. The application of gamification will help to work on the Linguistic Communication Competence and, specifically, reading comprehension in the 1st year of Bachillerato. It is, therefore, a product of practical application that can be extrapolated to any other level or subject with very few modifications, so it can serve as a guide and proposal of innovative practice for the faculty. The origin of this work stems from the lack of interest of secondary school students in the subject of language and the repercussions that this entails, the most obvious being the worsening of their reading comprehension. After a work of analysis, design and development, we have finally proposed the gamified design of a didactic unit, well documented and justified, which offers an innovative tool that has not yet had much practical experience in secondary classrooms. |
