Abstract: This project deals with the problem of school dropout in Vocational Training Courses, more specifically in the professional module Business Simulation in the Classroom in the Intermediate Vocational Office Administration Grade. It highlights that, despite the relevance of Vocational Training Education within the Spanish teaching system, there is a high risk of disengagement and of growing of dropout rates, which involves the need to reconsider teaching methods, and modify them to make them more attractive and effective for students. Therefore, this proposal focusses on implementing the resource of Flipped classroom in the module, with the aim of maintaining students’ interest and enthusiasm, improve their school performance and reduce dropouts. The justification of this project lies in the possible lack of interest and motivation of students, which contributes to dropping out of school. As a solution to the problem, the implementation of the flipped classroom pedagogical model in the Business Simulation module with the goal of motivating and maintaining the interest of students, improving academic performance, reducing module dropout, and consequently, dropout in the Intermediate Vocational Course in Office Administration, which would not improve job prospects. This decision to leave the course prematurely can have far-reaching consequences, often leading to limited work opportunities. This paper describes previous flipped classroom implementation experiences in educational contexts, in which it can be noted that the teaching-learning process improves its effectiveness, encourages cooperative work and increases student motivation. Finally, the objectives set forth in this document include understanding the reasons for student disengagement, analyzing the pedagogical model of flipped classroom, developing a program suited to the Business Simulation module, assessing its impact and making suggestions for improvement.
