Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to provide a starting point for the discussion on arbitration and industrial property in Chile. To this end, the study focuses on the one hand, on the review of the current state of industrial property rights and the growing importance of their development at the regional level, and on the other hand, on the study of arbitration as a mechanism for the resolution of these conflicts. In this scenario, the particular advantages and challenges that arbitration represents for the resolution of disputes involving IP rights are described. Finally, it delves into the study of arbitrability in Chile, identifying it as a key element for its promotion.
