Traducció del testament de Mark Twain

Abstract

L’objectiu principal d’aquest treball final de grau és assumir el que podria ser un encàrrec real d’un text jurídic aplicant els coneixements adquirits en aquest grau a través de la traducció del testament de Mark Twain de l’anglès al català i de la defensa de la traducció d’aquest text jurídic, en la qual justifiquem les decisions preses durant el procés de traducció. A més, trobareu una breu explicació sobre el dret successori a Catalunya, Espanya i als Estats Units amb una taula comparativa, la biografia de l’escriptor i un glossari terminològic.

The main aim of this project is to apply the knowledge acquired during the degree, through the translation of Mark Twain’s last will and testament from English to Catalan and its translation’s defense, in which the decisions taken during the translation process are justified. In addition, you will find a brief explanation of inheritance law in Catalonia, Spain and the United States, a comparative table, the biography of the writer and a glossary of terms.
