Abstract: Child sexual abuse (CSA) is a major problem in our society, affecting millions of children and adolescents, causing serious consequences, traumas and important psychological sequelae that will last for many years and even for a lifetime. This paper adopts an autoethnographic approach, from my own experience as a woman who has suffered CSA, addressing this problem and the consequences, after-effects and the journey through the institutions. It also analyzes the different consequences of having suffered CSA according to age and emphasizes the importance of raising awareness and the need to give more visibility to CSA in order to address it globally.
