La complexitat de l’establiment del vincle afectiu en el si d’una família adoptiva. Protecció a la infància i adolescència

Abstract

Gràcies al recull de fonts teòriques i acadèmiques, la revisió bibliogràfica presentada aprofundeix en la dificultat d’aferrament, que cada vegada més es troben les famílies adoptives. Concretament, posa el focus entorn a les particularitats de l’adoptat i l’adoptant, amb l’objectiu d’arribar a possibles conclusions que expliquin on s’origina la complexitat de l’establiment dels vincles afectius en el si d’una família per adopció. És per això que la revisió fa una especial referència al dret de l’infant a tenir una família, al valor del vincle afectiu primerenc, i en conèixer les particularitats de l’infant adoptat i de la família adoptiva. De manera que, es pretén informar sobre les diferents causes que originen la dificultat dels vincles afectius en la llar adoptiva. Pel que fa a l’infant adoptat, la manca d’aferrament amb la primera figura vincular, patir situacions traumàtiques i el pas per institucions residencials de protecció a la infància poden afectar en el seu desenvolupament físic, cognitiu i emocional. Quan a la família adoptiva, la no contemplació d’aquestes adversitats primerenques, exercir un model de criança inflexible, les altes expectatives, etc. poden generar situacions de malestar i distanciament amb els fills/es adoptats. En definitiva, els resultats del treball assenyalen la importància de divulgar aquesta informació, especialitzada en adopció, vincle i trauma, doncs tenir-la és convenient per a exercir un millor acompanyament a l’infant adoptat.

Thanks to the compilation of theoretical and academic sources, the bibliographical review presented delves into the difficulty of attachment, which adoptive families are increasingly encountering. Specifically, it focuses on the particularities of the adoptee and the adopter, with the aim of arriving at possible conclusions that explain where the complexity of emotional bond within an adoptive family originates. The review therefore makes special reference to the child's right to a family, to the value of early bonding, and to knowing the particularities of the adopted child and the adoptive family. Thus, the aim is to inform about the different causes of bonding difficulties in the adoptive home. As far as the adopted child is concerned, the lack of attachment with the first bonding figure, suffering traumatic situations and the time spent in residential institutions for the protection of children can affect his or her physical, cognitive and emotional development. As for the adoptive family, not contemplating these early childhood adversities, exercising an inflexible upbringing model, high expectations, etc. can generate situations of discomfort and distancing with the adopted children. In short, the results of the study point to the importance of disseminating this information, specialised in adoption, bonding and trauma, as it is convenient to have it in order to better accompany the adopted child.
