Title: A framework for detection of malicious software in Android handheld systems using machine learning techniques

Abstract: The present study aims at designing and developing new approaches to detect malicious applications in Android-based devices. More precisely, MaLDroide (Machine Learning-based Detector for Android malware), a framework for detection of Android malware based on machine learning techniques, is introduced here. It is devised to identify malicious applications.
