Abstract: Nowadays, due to the usage of system information technologies, the storage and usage of all kind of data is growing exponentially in almost any organization. In order to take advantage of this information, it is well known that competitive enterprises are using several techniques to extract knowledge of this source. Starting at the point that business intelligence wants to be as competitive and effective as possible, this project will implement data mining techniques looking for reasonable knowledge patterns in order to take profit of it. In this project we will work in a real but test environment where we are representing a private business school which wants to focus their resources on a specific geographical area looking for future students. To study in our school, it is necessary to pass several tests and assessments so it is very important to analyse this factor as a success indicator in a concrete zone. Taking all transactional and operational data of previous recruitment campaigns, the main objective is to extract patterns and rules that should ensure more efficiency in the student recruitment process, geographically and economically speaking.
