Title: Intervenció educativa per un cas de TDAH amb dificultats en la lectura

Abstract: Despite Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder has different comorbidities and one of them is learning difficulties, there are few studies that analyze these cases. As it is a relevant issue in the current educational landscape, the purpose of this study is to understand how ADHD affects on reading difficulties, making an educational approach to improving and enhancing the 4th grade student's reading skill diagnosed with ADHD. In order to success in this intervention, an intensive teaching through four sessions has been carried out. Each one divided in two parts: the speed and reading comprehension, considering the deficit of attention and impulsive behavior of the participant. In each session, there have been conducted two activities consisting in fluent reading (repeated reading of texts and reading with the Spreeder resource) and reading comprehension (disordered texts or with deleted words). Regarding the results of the study, they have shown an improvement in reading, both in speed and reading comprehension. Finally, the main conclusion of the article is that ADHD affects negatively the process of reading and, to improve it and catch the children¿s attention, we must work speed and reading comprehension beginning with motivating elements, different strategies and short tasks.
