Abstract: Each year, the inaugural lecture of the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya invites you to reflect on one of the lines of knowledge or action of the UOC in the hands of an expert of international prestige. For the 2015-2016 academic year Manuel Borja-Villel, director of the Reina Sofía Art Center, with an internationally recognized professional curriculum, warns of the need to evolve to adapt to the times: "institutions are living organisms".
