Abstract: Study of the recognition of images with Raspberry Pi applied to the robot of the university which is based on ROS (Robotic Opetaring System) with the purpose of detecting objects by shape or color to train the robot of some basic options such as the tracking of some object or determined color. To achieve this, it will be necessary first to make clear all the basic concepts, the importance of Raspberry Pi and ROS in the world of robotics. We will proceed to a study of this operating system, starting from projects already made of its operation, structure and way of working in order to facilitate the understanding of this project. Subsequently, a study will be made of how the detection of these objects is done with the Raspberry Pi and finish with a bit of programming in Python for the realization of a basic detection in order that in the future more complex actions can be developed and applicable. The recognition of these images will be done with the help of your Raspberry camera or webcam, by programming the Raspberry Pi from a database created by us or a previously created object or color in question. From this database the programming will be used for the recognition of the forms introduced in it.
