Abstract: This paper discusses how a company began to grow, its infrastructure became obsolete and, at the same time, it had no chance of growth. First of all, the concept of virtualization will be introduced to give a better understanding of what is the bulk of the project. At the same time, an analysis of the use of current resources is concluded, deficiencies are detected and migration is dimensioned towards a physical infrastructure as well as a virtual one. According to objective aspects, a decision will be taken and justified on what is the appropriate infrastructure, taking into account both the deficiencies and the needs described by the company. Finally, the necessary steps to migrate all the current infrastructure, towards a virtual infrastructure that solves all the deficiencies and guarantees the necessary growth will be described.
