Title: El shadow banking en el desenvolupament econòmic i social de la Xina

Abstract: This work is aimed at the treatment of one of the most important issues facing today's China's economy: the shadow banking. Understood as a form of financing that is outside of the rules. In order to situate the problem, analyze the reforms carried out in the financial system, and more specifically in the banking sector, carried out during the last three or four decades, when China began to open its markets, to pass, to then, in detail, some of the challenges that lie ahead. Once located, we will define the concept of shadow banking and analyze its structure, how it is made. We will see that much is materialized in savings products known as Wealth Management Products (WMP), which offer high yields but with low security and legal coverage. We will see its type and the associated risks. The concern is in default of loans that cover it and, therefore, no returning the capital invested. Finally, we will review the overviews of the problem and will exhibit a particular case of affects how, economically and socially, to finish reviewing the position of the authorities.
