La incapacitació de persones grans amb demència, vista des del treball social sanitari

Abstract

El que pretén aquest treball és poder mostrar quina visió tenen i quina tasca realitzen els professionals del treball social dins del procés d'incapacitació de persones grans amb demència així com les famílies dels pacients /usuaris a l'hora d'iniciar o no el procés. Donant importància a treballar més enllà del simple procés administratiu / judicial , amb la capacitat de realitzar i d'executar un diagnòstic, procés i seguiment del que comporta la modificació de la capacitat d'obrar. El Treballador Social Sanitari ha d'actuar tenint present en tot moment els aspectes biopsicosocials del usuari; informant, assessorant, orientant, aconsellant i utilitzant les tècniques del treball social per detectar, analitzar i valorar la situació social a l'hora de promoure i intervenir amb el procés. A més, de tenir en compte el que suposa per la família i l'entorn familiar incapacitar a un ésser estimat (exercint o no com a tutors), com han viscut aquest procés, quina és la seva visió i com s'han vinculat amb el professional del treball social dels diferents recursos.

Lo que pretende este trabajo es poder mostrar qué visión tienen y qué tarea realizan los profesionales del trabajo social dentro del proceso de incapacitación de personas grandes con demencia así como las familias de los pacientes /usuarios a la hora de iniciar o no el proceso. Dando importancia a trabajar más allá del simple proceso administrativo / judicial , con la capacidad de realizar y de ejecutar un diagnóstico, proceso y seguimiento del que comporta la modificación de la capacidad de obrar. El Trabajador Social Sanitario tiene que actuar teniendo presente en todo momento los aspectos biopsicosociales del usuario; informando, asesorando, orientando, aconsejando y utilizando las técnicas del trabajo social para detectar, analizar y valorar la situación social a la hora de promover e intervenir con el proceso. Además, de tener en cuenta el que supone por la familia y el entorno familiar incapacitar a un ser querido (ejerciendo o no como tutores), cómo han vivido este proceso, cuál es su visión y cómo se han vinculado con el profesional del trabajo social de los diferentes recursos.

What this Master Thesis pretends is to be able to show what vision and what work the social work professionals carry out in the process of incapacitation of elderly people with dementia, as well as those of the patient¿s families / users at the time to whether initiate or not the process. Giving importance to working beyond the simple administrative / judicial process, with the ability to carry out and execute a diagnosis, process and follow-up of what implications the modification of the ability to act has. The Medical Social Worker has to act having in mind at any time the biopsychosocial aspects of the patient, informing, counselling, advising and using all the techniques of the social work to identify, analyse and evaluate the situation when it comes to promote and intervene in the process. Also, have to take into account what it mean for the family and its entourage to incapacitate a loving one (taking or not the role of the guardian), how they lived the whole process, which is their vision and how they linked with the professional and the different resources.
