Title: L'Alfabetització mediàtica a Tarragona

Abstract: Communication in the field of education is a theme that has been discussed since the 80'. There are different future concepts, theories and propositions living under the umbrella of the media literacy. This work contains the explanation of the concepts that are being researched in this field: media literacy, participative culture, digital glitch, ludoliteracy, invisible learning and educommunication?The second part of this document provides with a snapshot of the experiences that sre being used in Tarragona not only from public institutions but also the private ones including companies and social groups. This work wants to bring the theories of media literacy together with the nonexpert citizens in the subject and at the same time it contains a summary of all the activities that are taking. Place or have taken place in Tarragona regarding the theories of the media literacy. The introduced projects could be part of the educational system to be able to asure a correct use of a media language and to contibute with the critical thinking. We are recording the origins of the "educommunication" and the imbalances that its not implementation could cause in the long run in our society.
