Abstract: This dissertation deals with the evolution of the tradicional ethnobotanical practices (TEP), the recent evolution of these practices in a context of mutations in China in recent decades and its value as a marker of cultural identity (CI) of ethnic minorities of the Chinese Yunnan province. It aims to assess the actual use, preservation and development of ethnomedicine in this region and especially of the TEP, to clarify the relationship can be established between the CI and the TEP and therefore studied the points of contact between the TEP and the CI of ethnic minorities in Yunnan (EMY).
