Abstract: | The separation of science and technology indicators shows the gender gap. The incorporation of women depends not only on their preferences but also on the obstacles that endanger their access to jobs and the consolidation of their careers. The principal keys of this disparity are situated in the scientific career structure and in the invisible gender prejudices that remain hidden behind the experience acquired by women in making their own place in the professional world of science. Thus, the training phase constitutes a vital moment in the permanence of women in scientific careers. The study focuses in the human resources policies that aim at providing grants to younger graduates. Its rules are based in equity principles, but it is necessary to display that its implementation is fair as well, (that is, whether there are unbiased choices over the candidates from a gender perspective). The ratio of enrolled success in training programmes and the participation of women in a wide variety of fields of study shed light on a complex reality that opens new lines for analysis and reflexion. |
