Author: Monjo Palau, Antònia

Abstract: An interactive interface of an application is its own mean of expression, the resource for informing, guiding, instructing, convicing or emotioning the user. For an efficient interface it has to be known what is the purpose of the application, how are the people at which it is aimed, how the mind of the user works, which device will be used, and how will be the interaction. It is also essential to know the tools that allow us to verify that our design meets the objectives. Over the Interfaces for multimedia systems course will be developed a multidisciplinary process dealing with all the issues to be taken into account in the design of an interface from functional, conceptual, aesthetic and technical aspects.
