Title: Señales de encefalograma: análisis y distinción de canales focales y no focales
Author: Testa Pérez, Antía
Tutor: Solé-Casals, Jordi
Abstract: Within biomedicine, the uptake and processing of physiological signals is essential for the diagnosis or investigation of different pathologies that somehow originate in the body. There are multiple types of signals to analyze, throughout this project we will focus on Electroencephalogram signals and their treatment for the detection of epileptic foci. Starting from a database of electroencephalogram signals, captured in real patients, we will seek to obtain a vision of brain activities. The signals will be processed and processed for further classification depending on whether it is a focal signal (epileptic focus) or not. For this, we will rely on the Matlab tool, to carry out the signal processing, the definition of distinction parameters and, finally, their classification.
