Title: M-learning: alternativas de uso de aplicaciones móviles educativas como complemento del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje en la asignatura de inglés

Abstract: This Final Master's Thesis (TFM) allows to demonstrate the pedagogical benefits of the M-learning methodology in Compulsory Secondary Education. The positive results in experiences or practical applications are evidents. In this case, the work focuses on Compulsory Secondary Education teachers because there is a certain reluctance to incorporate mobile technology in their classes and also the lack of knowledge, as confirmed by Brazuelo et al. (2017) in an exploratory-descriptive study, where 55,6% of Secondary Education teachers have a medium level of technical knowledge about mobile devices and 93,3% are unaware of the educational experiences that can be achieved with these devices, however, 78,5% are interested in learning about mobile learning. For this reason, in this work the antecedents, experiences or practical applications, key concepts and their interrelation are disclosed, to awaken the interest of the recipients on the subject. The specific purpose of the work is to offer teachers guidance or alternatives for pedagogical use and to publicize the educational advantages of four mobile language apps, including Duolingo, Busuu, Rosetta Stone and Speak English!, as a guide so that they can adapt or design activities in different learning situations. Finally, it can be indicated that the teachers will know relevant information that helps them integrate the M-learning methodology in their classes, in a way that allows them to promote meaningful learning, achieve the learning objectives established in the curriculum and, above all, improve the academic performance of their students.
