Abstract: Currently, dysphagia presents little knowledge about the interventions that exist to restore food intake in neurological patients. In this Final Work of Degree, we intend to learn about the effect of speech therapy rehabilitation of dysphagia through compensation and rehabilitation techniques in a patient who has suffered a hemorrhagic stroke. To achieve this objective, a sample with only one subject was selected: a 47 year's old woman diagnosed with dysphagia after having suffered a hemorrhagic stroke. An evaluation pre-post 4 months of speech therapy rehabilitation was performed. A single case observational study was carried out, analyzing the data obtained with a mixed methodology. The results of the intervention were a notable improvement in the swallowing abilities of the patient. However, it should be remembered that in order to generalize the results obtained, it would be desirable to conduct the study with a larger sample over a longer period of time.
