Abstract: This final degree project is part of the video games speciality of the Multimedia Degree at the Open University of Catalonia (UOC). The purpose and goal of this work is the realization of a platform video game that combines elements in 2D and 3D. This project covers all the phases that constitute the development of a video game: dea, design, modeling, level structuring, programming and assembly, etc. One of the highlights of the video game is the design, since the backgrounds and platforms that make up the environment and world of the game are sprites, and the characters (playable and enemies), in addition to the interaction elements (useful elements and necessary for the overcoming of the level) and the collectible objects, are 3D models. Another objective on a personal aspect in this project is the development and deeper learning of the programs used: Photoshop and Illustrator for the 2D elements, Maya and Mixamo for the 3D model and Unity for the programming and production of the video game, in C# language. The final result is a 2.5D platformer video game, where the player must manage to go from start to finish, and less than 8 minutes, the level, using certain objects at the right time and place.
